Our Team

  • Melissa Perham - Director

My name is Melissa and I am incredibly passionate about early childhood education. My journey into this field began as a teenager when I was given the opportunity to teach Sunday school; helping young minds move from being curious to making connections filled me with a deep desire to pursue a path in education.

Since 2010, I have had the privilege to work as a nanny, the Preschool Director in the children’s ministry and as a teacher in the Two’s classroom and the PreK classroom.

I am excited to share my experience and enthusiasm with you at Kids Movement Preschool. I am committed to building a community where every child feels valued, loved and empowered to learn. I am looking forward to partnering with parents and colleagues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of generations to come.

  • Amanda Johnson - Lead Teacher (PreK)

My name is Amanda, and I have worked in the Early Childhood field for 15+ years, caring for the staff children of my church, while also serving kids of all ages in Children’s Ministry for 13+ years and the AWANA Bible Club for 25+ years. I also homeschooled my 3 daughters, now grown up.

During this time, I discovered a passion for teaching children, beyond my own, as I had opportunities to teach co-op classes and kid’s Bible classes.

I believe helping kids learn to love learning and to see the wonder in the world around them, in a loving and encouraging environment is important for children to succeed.

I love to see the children I teach grow and develop, gaining skills and knowledge in varied learning styles. I also believe in giving kids fun experiences and enriching activities to help round out their learning in an immersive way.

Outside of the classroom, my life is centered around my faith, marriage of 30+ years and my family. In my free time you can find me engaging in some creative endeavor. I love to sew, craft, art journal, and watercolor paint and I use many of these creative ideas to create fun things for the children in my life.

  • Bella Rovetto - Lead Teacher (3s)

Bella has been passionate about early childhood education for over half her life. She realized at a young age that  helping children learn and grow brings her joy! She has worked with young children in various capacities such as babysitting, church nursery and kids ministry for a little over 12 years.  In high school she took 3 years of early childhood education, which included hands on learning experiences in a licensed childcare facility.

Bella  is passionate about cultivating an atmosphere in the classroom where children know that  they are loved, valued and that they have a purpose bigger than themselves.  She believes that learning  happens many ways including play and hands on experiences. Bella firmly believes that when  children have fun while learning in new ways that excite them, they discover what they are passionate about.

Ms Bella is Florida born and Arizona raised! Her faith in Jesus is the biggest part of her life. She has attended Without Walls church for 14+ years. This is where she found her passion for serving the body of Christ and watching God move in the lives of others.  When not in the classroom, you can find Ms. Bella in the kitchen cooking, spending time with her big Italian family, tackling a diy project or watching football!

  • Shelby Hill - Lead Teacher (Toddler 2)

I am also a proud mom to a 7 year old boy, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your little ones.

  • Kayla Bagwill - Teacher Aide (Toddler 2)

My name is Kayla and I have four years experience working with kids. Some of my favorite things about working with kids are watching them interact with one another, seeing them grow, and hearing them laugh.
